Simple Guidelines To Find Your Passion For Your Career

Career and Future, are probably the most considered matters in everybody’s mind.

Questions like :
* What is the perfect job for me?
* What should I do?
* What will my future be?
* Which company should I join?
..and so many other questions and choices to make.

But I believe that inside of each of us there’s a piece of good news! The good news is that you really don’t know how great you can be, how much you can love, what you can accomplish, and what your potential is! (Steven R.Covey)

All we need to do is to identify our natural talent and develop them into strength. Years ago, a friend of mine asked, “Why are you still working for someone? Why are you keep waiting for a monthly salary? Are you happy? Do you feel whole?” and my gratitude for him is endless, because since that moment I decided to do what I like to do, the things that I’m naturally good at, the things that I get passionate about. Get an idea now? You see, over time these natural talents of us reveals themselves, but we choose not to pay attention, sometimes we just see them as a hobby, but actually we can choose to refine them into a powerful strength in our life.

Our potentials includes the mind setting, feelings, and behaviors that naturally comes out by it self and makes us feel whole, it seems like we’re just good at it and enjoy doing it. That is what it's called passion.

Here are some questions and guidelines that have helped me and hopefully will also help you to make the best decision for your future:

* What are you good and enjoy at?
Define things that you will do without any burden. Things that make you sincerely willing to not have enough sleep for days just to have some progress because it gives peace in your heart and mind.

* What excites you the most?
Things that you can't stop thinking about, even when you're doing something else. Things that energized your day just by thinking about it.

* Narrow things down.
If there are a lot of things you like, then elimination is the key to focus.

* What do you read about?
Comics or Physics by Einstein? if you prefer "Physics by Einstein", there's probably something in "Physics" that can lead to your true passion. Dig it up.

* Learn, ask and take notes.
Get used to consult with professional people in the field you have interest with, they are not in auto-share mode so you have to ask them. Join the communities, browse online, get to know the best of the best, spend more time with people that influenced you the most and learn from them.

* Find the time.
Take every single minute you have. We all have the same 24 hours as Einstein, Newton, and Mozart!

* Experiment and don't be afraid to make mistakes.
Keep practicing, again and again. If you didn't succeed 1000x times it doesn't mean that you have failed, it only means that you have found 1000 ways that didn't work. Practice makes perfect.

"Some people make things happen;
Some people watch things happen;
And some people ask 'what just happen?"
I’m blessed because I’ve found my passion and I’m living and growing it now. How about you? Have you found your passion? Have you found the courage to stand for it?
